Youth Moves is lucky to be supported by so many organisations, trust funders, businesses and individuals. Some of these provide direct funding support for our work, others provide advice and help us with our networking, fund-raising, programme development or offering opportunities for the young people that we work with. Whatever they do it is invaluable to a charitable organisation such as ours and without them we couldn’t do what we do.
Youth Moves has been based at The Park since 2005 and we continue to work very closely with this amazing, vibrant hub of community, activity, business, learning, support and leisure services based in Knowle. We are more than just a tenant and have the responsibility for developing provision across the site for children and young people aged 8 and above.
We provide support to students on vocational college courses at The Park during their lunch times, and our youth workers work alongside their education courses to ensure they stay engaged and get the best results that they can.
Since closing in 2001 as a school, The Park has become a focus for enterprise, learning and community development, and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us both together in the future.
We believe in working with others, sharing knowledge, skills and expertise, helping to challenge our thinking and keep us creative and innovative.

We work alongside Barton Camp and Bristol Children's Help Society to provide young people from South Bristol with year round opportunities to visit this amazing residential centre set in Somerset.
We work closely with Bristol City Community Trust to offer their education students the NCS experience, but also for holiday programmes and providing young people with links to their local football club and sports opportunities.
We work with boomsatsuma to deliver an NCS experience for their students. This helps their students develop team working skills that they can use later within their course. It also introduces them to local charities which they can then get involved with for both their course and their personal time.
We have worked with Snow Camp since they first started working in Bristol in 2015 giving young people the chance to get involved in Snowsports activities from ‘First Tracks’ taster sessions through to their Graduate programmes. Click here to find out more.
A relatively new youth club provision for young people based on Filwood Broadway in Knowle West. We provide support to the organisation, and work together to deliver projects with Rich and the team as they establish new opportunities for young people from the area.
