We are always looking for new volunteers (either individuals or businesses) to help us run our programmes, develop our services and to ensure we can reach as many young people as possible.
We offer short or long-term volunteering opportunities working across a variety of projects.
For example you could be working on a holiday programme for 8-12 year olds, drive a minibus for us, use a skill or passion you have on a music or sports session, get involved in our Urban Escape programme at our allotment, or support one of our youth club nights.
Whatever you do it is fun, rewarding and we offer ongoing training and support to all of our volunteers.
You would need to complete a DBS (Data & Barring Service) enhanced check before starting volunteering with us.
Attached is our Volunteering Policy & Agreement to download if you are interested in joining us!
We provide a range of opportunities for corporate volunteering and engagement and are always happy to talk to businesses and individuals about how they can volunteer with us.
For groups this could for example be:
A team day to help us at our allotment site
Running workshops for young people as a part of NCS or with a local school
Putting on a fun day/ event with the community
For individuals - if your business allows you to do some days for a local charity then we would love to use your skills – design, HR, law, business strategy are just examples but we would love to hear from you. Contact us here
For Young People
We provide Work Experience placements for young people to find out more about youth work. However please be aware that a lot of our delivery is with age ranges similar to young people who may be on Work Experience placements, or with other young people from around South Bristol who they may already know. If you are interested in finding out more then please get in touch.
For young people who want to volunteer with us then the starting point is taking part in the Young Leaders course click here to find out more.
