The icing on the cake is that I will be working locally, which is really important to me.'

It's always an exciting time at Youth Moves when we welcome new staff, and that's exactly what we are doing this month.

We are all about starting new journeys, and thats exactly whats happened for our new recruits. We are very pleased to announce the arrival of new youth workers Ungela, Zin, Cody, and Julia. We welcome you all and wish you great success with us.

Over the next few weeks and months we will get to know each, but for now we had a chat with Julia, and let her say hello in her own way.

'Hi, my name is Julia Nibloe I’m the new senior youth worker and mentoring co-ordinator at Youth Moves.  I’ve been a youth and community worker for over 30 years and I have worked in lots of different settings during this time.  A significant focus of this work has been in health and wellbeing roles.

I’m passionate about working with young people and I come from a rights based, needs standpoint.  That’s why I’m excited to be working for Youth Moves providing support and guidance to mentors who do such a fantastic job supporting young people in south Bristol.  The icing on the cake is that I will be working locally, which is really important to me.'
