Lisa has been working at Youth Moves since 2019.
She is the lead worker for the Urban Escape project, running a couple of youth projects for juniors and Seniors, as well as a weekly community gardening day.

Prior to working at Youth Moves, she supported and led youth clubs in Keynsham, Chipping Sodbury and Oldland, and used to lead the Trinity Community Garden based in Lawrence Hill, running several children and youth projects and community gardening sessions there.
A qualified youth worker, she is also a trained forest school leader and has worked all over Bristol in schools, community gardens, farms and parks to deliver after school clubs, toddler groups, school holiday sessions and more. She is passionate about this and firmly believes that, 'nature based activities, such as gardening, food growing and forest school, are a fantastic vehicle for supporting their development and wellbeing.'
Outside of work Lisa loves to travel, and go away in her camper van, for walks or finding adventurous ways to enjoy the outdoors such as canyoning.
Life has taken her on some funny adventures and she once found herself living and working in the place that the Sound of Music was filmed in, which is now an international conferencing centre.
